SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of producing means of labelling an evacuation route in an airplane. The means comprises a luminous layer which is luminescent in the dark and a profile consisting of two profile components which can be connected to each other. The luminous layer is placed in a cut made in the first of the profile components and is oriented in the longitudinal direction, and the second profile component can be attached to the adjacent floor surface. The method includes the following steps: making a luminous layer from a mixture of silicone material and photoluminescent pigments and feeding said mixture, which is in a liquid state, into the cut on the front profile component, where said mixture hardens by forming cross-linking bonds with the walls inside the profile.
EFFECT: high luminosity and durability of the labelling means.
