FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to petrochemical equipment structural component operated at 230-990oC and to process of surface processing. Said element comprises initial substrate of ferrous or nonferrous metal, or steel, diffusion ply and amorphous metal ply. Diffusion ply is arranged on initial substrate and has first surface in contact with said substrate and second surface opposite said first surface. Diffusion ply features negative profile of hardness gradient increasing from second surface to first surface. Said ply is composed by processing of amorphous metal ply applied on initial substrate by sufficient amount of power for fusion of at least a portion of amorphous coat ply and a portion of initial substrate. Said process comprises steps whereat said plies are formed.
EFFECT: higher antirust properties, wear resistance, erosion resistance, resistance abrasive wear and combination thereof.
