SUBSTANCE: proposed is a capsule for preparation of beverage from the beverage food ingredients contained therein; the capsule includes a body (2) containing at least one section to be filled with the said ingredients and a flange-shaped collar (4)(projecting outside and crosswise relative to the central axis (I) of the said body), a membrane (6) for closure of the aperture on the flange-shaped collar tat is to be sealed; an optical code (7) containing binary format information to be read by the beverage preparation device (20) photographic camera; the optical code (7) represents a 2D code having rectangular boundaries (7a-7d) and applied within the round zone (8) positioned concentrically round the centre (O) of the membrane having radius (R) which is smaller than the membrane radius (R0).
EFFECT: proposed is a beverage preparation capsule.
