FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to agriculture. The invention represents a method of growing Jerusalem artichoke plants and includes the estimation of an initial material, selection among them of biotypes in accordance with economically-valuable features, growing the Jerusalem artichoke plants in a test tube culture on a nutritional agar Murashige-Skoog medium, after planting the test tube shoots into the test tubes on the medium and achieving by the plants of a stage of 5-6 leaves and the root system development graftage is performed, then the plants in a phase of 10-15 leaves and at the development of the root system or the formation of microtubers are re-planted into soil, with the estimation of the plant health being carried out visually, the plants with no specimens with signs of disease affection are considered to be healthy, the morphological selection of economically-valuable features is performed in the period of harvesting by higher productivity with the separate estimation of each plant.
EFFECT: application of the claimed method makes it possible to improve conditions of the Jerusalem artichoke growing, realise early diagnostics of diseases, increase reliability and efficiency of selection for seed farms, increase the quality of the seed material obtaining, improve the seed Jerusalem artichoke.
