SUBSTANCE: method includes controlling pressure in the lower part of the alcohol column by feeding heating steam into the column; controlling collection of alcohol from one of the upper trays of the column, the value of which is adjusted as a function of the difference between the given and the current temperature of the vapour phase over the reference tray of the column; controlling flow of cooling water entering the refluxer of the alcohol column, wherein the flow of cooling water entering the refluxer of the alcohol column is controlled as a function of the difference between the given and the current temperature of the condensate at the outlet of the refluxer of the alcohol column.
EFFECT: improved quality of the obtained alcohol, reduced cost per unit of the heating steam and high output of the alcohol column.
