METHOD FOR PRODUCING RECTIFIED ALCOHOL Russian patent published in 2018 - IPC C12P7/06

Abstract RU 2651480 C1

FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: method involves the use of a brew rectification plant including a boiling and brew columns and a pre-treatment column operating at atmospheric pressure, a first epuration column operating at elevated pressure, and also a second epuration column, an alcohol column, a final purification column, and a methanol concentration column and head contaminants operating at a pressure below atmospheric pressure. Heating of the brew, first epuration and boiling columns is carried out with a sharp steam through their boilers. Pre-purification column is fed and heated by feeding into its cube a water-alcohol vapor that is not condensed in the brew preheater. To heat the second epuration column, the vapor streams from the upper plate of the lower zone of the concentration part and from the top plate of the first epuration column in the evaporator reflux evaporators of the second epuration column, where, due to the condensation heat of said streams, the bottom liquid is evaporated to form a secondary heating steam, which is fed into the cube of the second epuration column. Heating of the alcohol column, the final purification column and the methanol concentration column and the head impurities are carried out by secondary vapor from their reflux condensers, for production of which the bottoms of these columns are evaporated due to the heat of the condensation of steam from the upper plates of the boiling and brew columns and the self-discharge of epurate from the first and second epuration columns and the bottoms of the methanol concentration column and head impurities. Decoction column is fed by feeding to the upper plate of the bottom liquid of the alcohol column heated with its Luther from the boiling column. Epuration of the water-alcohol vapor from the brew heater of the brew column and the first reflux condenser-evaporator is carried out at an elevated pressure in the first epuration column by feeding the hydro-selective water to its upper plate. Condensation of the water-alcohol vapor from the second reflux condenser-column of the final purification together with the liquids from the cube of the pre-treatment column and the alcohol trap of the dirty epaulettes is epurated at a reduced pressure in the second epuration column, with supply of hydroselective water to its upper plate. Initial brew is heated in the brew heaters of the alcohol and brew columns with the heat of partial condensation of the water-alcohol vapor from their upper plates.

EFFECT: invention allows to reduce the total steam consumption for brew rectification and to improve the quality of the final product due to separate epuration of two parts of the brew distillate, differing in content of the accompanying impurities of ethyl alcohol and pressure in the first and second diagram columns.
