FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises bed with supports and two parallel guides mounted thereon, alidade, horizontally moving carriage, tool clamp engaged therewith with clamping bolt. Note here that tool clamp is composed of hollow box of interconnected bottom, top and two lateral plates articulated by two axles with said moving carriage. It is equipped with two runners with clamps arranged at box bottom plate to fix tool to be sharpened perpendicular to abrasive stick. Note here that said guides are composed of metal rods while said box can turn through 90 degrees. Carriage allows adjustment of its travel to comply with abrasive stick length by means of lock ring fitted on one of said rods.
EFFECT: simplified design, expanded applications, higher quality of sharpening.
