FIELD: manufacturing technology.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to manual abrasive tools for sharpening cutting edges of tools. Manual abrasive tool comprises a shoe, an attached thereto sheet abrasive material, two assemblies to clamp the sheet abrasive material, an assembly to tension the sheet abrasive material and attached from below to the shoe shock-absorbers and a plate. Plate is placed in the central part of the shoe. At one end of the shoe there is a solid cutout throughout the length of the end located in its upper part, in which there is one of said clamping assemblies. On the opposite end of the shoe there are two solid cutouts throughout the length of the end, one of which is located in its lower part and accommodating the second of the said clamping assemblies, and the second cutout is placed higher than the first one and accommodates the said tension assembly. Plate thickness is 2–3 mm less than height of the shock absorbers. Sheet abrasive material used is a coated abrasive on a fabric base.

EFFECT: provided is higher quality of sharpening a manual abrasive tool.
