FIELD: weapons and ammunition.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to an issue of power transmission to a shell while passing through a barrel and/or a muzzle brake. According to the proposed method, power transmission to the shell is performed by inductive and/or capacitive sensors. For the power transmission a wave-guide is used, as electromagnetic field is concentrated in the wave-guide. The applied power transmission system consists of at least the wave-guide which is located in the area of the barrel, for example, between the muzzle brake and the gun barrel. A transmitting connector is powered by the signals generator. The shell has at least one sensor, which receives a signal and charges an accumulator in the shell. Besides, this system is used for measurement of the shell muzzle velocity V0.

EFFECT: providing simple system configuration allowing optimum power transmission.
