SUBSTANCE: embodiments of systems and methods for compression of the plasma are claimed, in which the plasma can be compressed due to the impact action of the projectile on the magnetised plasma in the cavity of the liquid metal. The projectile can be melted in the cavity of the liquid metal, and the liquid metal can be recycled to form new projectiles.
EFFECT: increasing the lifetime of the system and increasing the pulse repetition frequency.
