FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: device comprises one or several identical independent supports distributed regularly over the specimen length to support the specimen in crosswise direction. Every said support comprises three identical cams regularly distributed in specimen circle and cam radial displacement drive. Pickups to register mechanical contact between cam and specimen are arranged at the surface of every cam facing said specimen. Automatic servo system is used for cam drive control It allows separation of cams to position whereat, at least, one of said cams stays out of contact with specimen.
EFFECT: development of stressed-deformed state corresponding to uniaxial compression, higher accuracy.
