SUBSTANCE: beverage concentrate includes a non-caloric sweetening component containing rebaudioside A in an amount effective for noticeable sweetening of the beverage of normal concentration and a bitter agent containing gentian. The gentian concentration is less than 50 ppm and is effective for reduction of long-lasting sweet aftertaste of the non-caloric sweetener. The invention second object is a beverage including a non-caloric sweetening component containing rebaudioside A in an amount effective for noticeable sweetening of the beverage of normal concentration and a bitter agent containing gentian. The gentian concentration is less than 50 ppm.
EFFECT: reduction of long-lasting sweet aftertaste of the non-caloric sweetener in the beverage.
