FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: fluid ejection device comprises fluid ejection head. Said head comprised fluid ejection outlet and substrate including the element to generate heat power required for fluid ejection from fluid outlet. Two electrodes are connected with said heat power generating element and protected by ply of insulating material to cover said heat generating element. Metal ply made in compliance with said heat generating element to cover said insulating ply. Drive unit sets first potential of one of two electrodes equal, in fact, to fluid potential; while second potential of another electrode is lower than said first potential for excitation of power generating element.
