FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to the field of control of electroconductive media level, namely of liquid-metal coolants of reactor units of nuclear power stations. Level gage contains exciting winding and measuring winding placed in protective cover submerged in controlled medium. The gauge is provided with hollow axial canal fixed in protective cover inside coils of exciting winding and measuring winding, and with moving level indicator moved inside hollow axial channel. Moving level indicator is designed as a rod, which one end is provided with a sensor consisting of a group of inductively coupled coils, and the other end is provided with electric connector to which sensor coils outputs are connected. Rod attachment unit is fixed on protective cover in any point of level change range.
EFFECT: using this level gauge provides required metrological characteristics, operation reliability and long service life of level gauges under severe temperature and radiation environment of nuclear reactor.
