FIELD: radio engineering, communication.

SUBSTANCE: method of cleaning, activating and clarifying silver coatings in gas-discharge plasma is characterised by preliminary blowing of articles with a neutral gas; preliminary wiping of the articles with acetone and alcohol; placing the articles in the chamber of a plasma apparatus together with a similar sample with a silver coating - attestor; cleaning the articles in a nitrogen domination medium at power of 500-600 W, process pressure of 50-150 mTorr for 600-120 s; after cleaning, checking the quality of processing based on the attestor by a limiting wetting angle method; performing external examination of the articles.

EFFECT: silver articles are widely used in aerospace and surface instrument-making where there are high requirements for purity.
