SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the device and method of production of elongated textile preforms designed for production of bearing composite elements by the method using the resin infusion. The technical result is achieved by the method of placement of the sliver continuously along the entire length of the elongated shape, which contains a small amount of binder to produce a so-called dry preform which cross section comprises two non-coplanar wings. And the method comprises the step of heating the part of the sliver to activate the said small amount of binder. Then pressing of the said part to one of the surfaces of the preform. Then preliminary forming of the said part while it is heated, in a cross section of the preform. Then milling of the said part in the surface of the cross-section of the preform and calibration of the packet while it is cooling down, comprising the said part placed in such a way by the application of pressure to all the respective surfaces of the preform. And the said steps are performed simultaneously on different and successive parts of the sliver for obtaining the gradual and continuous placement of the sliver.
