SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to dose-setting mechanisms for drug delivery devices. The reusable and resettable dose-setting mechanism for the drug delivery device comprises an outer body, an inner body, a drive and a scaled sleeve between the outer body and the inner body. The inner body has an outer groove. The inner body is functionally connected to the drive and guides the same to meter a dose set by the dose-setting mechanism. The scaled sleeve is in a swivel engagement to the outer groove of the inner body. The drive comprises a first portion and a second portion, which connected together when the scaled dose sleeve is rotated, and which are configured for a rotary coupling for mechanism resetting. What is provided is a dose scale grip rotary coupled to the scaled sleeve. The dose scale grip is not rotary coupled to a dose button so that when setting a dose by rotating the dose scale grip, the scaled sleeve rotates both about the outer body, and about the inner body, and the scaled sleeve travels from both the outer body, and from the inner body.

EFFECT: invention has a small number of components; a low cost of production; it is less difficult-to-assemble and more compact; it simplifies the stages to be performed by the user to reset the dose setting mechanism.
