FIELD: process engineering.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and can be used for removal of dielectric coatings from metal parts by processing with spinning non-profiled electrode brush. In compliance with this method, said electrode brush with radial wire pile is fitted to press against the metal substrate, pile height being larger than dielectric coating depth. Said electrode brush is connected to DC source plus while metal substrate is connected to DC source minus. Then, DC is fed to electrode at voltage lower than critical value to process dielectric coating in conducting fluid unless stable current flows in circuit "electrode brush-metal substrate" circuit. Now, electrode brush is displaced in outline of processed surface with displacement rate adjustment and maintenance of stable current in said circuit.

EFFECT: efficient removal, precision and quality of surface layer in processing zone.
