FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to machine building and aims at obtaining in cooled parts of recesses on side and bottom part of slot to eliminate locking of coolant flow in slot and engine overheating. Disclosed is a method of making a template for electrochemical production of depressions in a groove of a cooling channel of a part, comprising applying on a metal layer from sheet material of a dielectric layer of a photo emulsion coating and obtaining in it by means of subsequent manifestation and fixation of current conducting sections opposite to recesses in a groove of a cooling channel of a part. On the dielectric layer of the photo emulsion coating along the conductive sections by pressing the rounded rod into it, uniformly located projections are formed, the height of which is not less than the value of the interelectrode gap, after which the dielectric layer of the emulsion coating is fixed on the metal layer by heating and smoothly bend the template along the shape of the cooling channel of the part, wherein current conducting sections are located without dielectric layer opposite the location of obtained recesses. Also disclosed is a template for electrochemical production of depressions in the slot of the cooling channel of the part.
EFFECT: invention provides reduced labour input and increased accuracy of making depressions, guaranteed formation of a channel for electrolyte flow, as well as stability of the process, high efficiency of electrochemical dimensional processing and high accuracy of the obtained cavity.
