SUBSTANCE: method of checking telephone connection duration measurement systems (SIDS) of telecommunication systems includes forming control connections of reference duration, verifying that the connection is set up properly, comparing the duration of the formed control connections with the duration of connections measured by SIDS, processing the obtained results, wherein a statistically significant number of control connections with variable duration of the speech condition simultaneously on different channels is formed, the results are processed using a mathematical statistics apparatus, wherein a representative number of control connections for determining the lower and upper boundaries of the probability of inaccurate operation of the SIDS is selected based on the number of control connections in which a SIDS has inaccurately determined the duration of the speech condition.

EFFECT: higher accuracy and broader functional capabilities of the method of checking telephone connection duration measurement systems.
