FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power-plant engineering, heat exchange equipment and can be used for condensation of exhaust steam without coolant with conversion of a part of thermal energy into electrical. The electrostatic generating condenser contains the housing with top and bottom covers. The fitting pipes of exhaust steam inlet, condensate outlet, air fitting pipe are made from dielectric material. Between the top and bottom covers vertical rectangular partitions are placed, forming steam chambers and condensate collecting chambers. Each vertical partition consists of several vertical perforated plates placed with a gap and fabricated from hydrophilic dielectric material. The holes in plates are made as horizontal conic capillaries arranged so that the large holes of conic capillaries of the previous vertical plate are facing towards the steam chamber, and small ones - towards the condensate collecting chamber. The external surface of each named plate of all vertical partitions is coated with a layer of perforated conducting material connected from below with like electrodes, connected, in turn, with wires of like collectors and terminals. A working body of electricity obtaining process is a vapour-liquid mix.
