FIELD: heating.

SUBSTANCE: in shell-and-tube capillary condenser under the top cover the tube grid is located into the holes of which the vertical punched pipes are inserted which are plugged from below with caps forming steam chambers the interpipe space between which forms the residual condensation chamber which is interconnected with a cavity of the lower cover forming the condensate collecting chamber, and the vertical punched pipes of steam chambers are covered from outside with the layer of hydrophilic material or made of it, the perforation in them is implemented in the form of horizontal conic capillaries, located in such a way that big holes of conic capillaries are facing towards the steam chamber, and small holes in the cavity of the residual condensation chamber, the hydrophilic coating of external surface of pipes is designed as needle-like, the step between needles is equal to the average diameter of capillaries, and along the perimeter of external hydrophilic surface along the whole height of pipes the vertical transporting grooves are arranged.

EFFECT: design simplification and improvement of operating efficiency of shell-and-tube capillary condenser.
