SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power engineering, namely to heat exchange equipment, and can be used to condense waste steam without the use of refrigerant. Sectional capillary condenser, including a housing with lids, equipped with pipes for entering the exhaust steam and condensate outlet, an air branch pipe, inside which between the upper and lower covers there are vertical rectangular partitions connected to each other and to the side walls of the body also from above in a staggered manner through one horizontal strip-lid forming the steam-air sections, steam condensate sections consisting of pairs of rectangular partitions each of which consists of several vertical perforated plates covered with a layer of hydrophilic material or made of it, placed with a gap between each other, holes in which are made in the form of horizontal conical capillaries directed by small openings towards the steam-air sections, each steam-condensate section is provided with a horizontal slat from above, vertical perforated plates on the side of the steam-air section are provided with horizontal spikes of length Δ, staggered between small openings of the capillaries, and from the side of the vapor condensate sections the perforated plates are provided at the entire height with vertical grooves located between the large holes of the conical capillaries, the perforated plates being assembled in such a way that the small holes of the conical capillaries of the previous perforated plate are positioned opposite the vertical grooves of the subsequent perforated plate.
EFFECT: increased reliability and efficiency of the sectional capillary condenser.
