FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: eight-time magnetic semiconductor frequency multiplier is based on eight double-winding saturable reactors coupled as per bridge circuit, which are connected by its one diagonal to two four-wire networks shifted between each other per angle α=±/4 and by its second diagonal to double-winding transformers. The secondary windings of the transformers are connected in parallel aiding and under load while the primary windings are shunted by the half-way keys, which are connected through the control unit to the half-way keys installed in parallel to one winding of each saturable reactor. The control unit is based on a pulse-width modulator. Regulation of output voltage increased eight times is carried out symmetrically to the middle of each period of the network voltage.
EFFECT: power factor and power efficiency, reducing weight and dimensions thus reducing independence of regulation range on the load origin and parameters.
