SUBSTANCE: invention relates to compositions of toners, applied in different systems of image obtaining. Claimed is carrier for toners, which contains magnetic core with polymer coating, applied on at least part of core surface. Polymer coating contains polymer, selected from acrylates and metacrylates, and cation- binding group, selected from crown-ethers, cryptandes, cyclenes, porphine, meso-tetraphenylporfyrin, tetratolylporphyrin, tetrabenzoporphyrin, tetraphenylporphyrin, orthophenyltetraazaporphyrin and their combinations. Polymer coating has carbon:oxygen ration from approximately 3:1 to approximately 8:1. Carrier with coating has specific resistance from approximately 10⁸ Ohm-cm to approximately 10¹³ Ohm-cm with voltage 500 volts. Versions of composition, which includes toner and said carrier, are also claimed.

EFFECT: claimed carrier provides toner with improved characteristics of charge and sensitivity to relative humidity, which results in increase of printing quality.
