FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to resins for producing carriers for toner for electrophotographic printing. Described is a method of producing latex resins, intended for application of coating on carriers, carried out by batch introduction of a mixture of an anionic surfactant, at least one aliphatic cycloacrylate and at least one dialkylaminoacrylate in a mixture of anionic surfactant with water to produce an emulsion, containing particles of latex. Resins exhibit ξ potential less than -55 mV and are characterised by particle size of more than 85 nm. Invention also describes a method of producing a coated, a coated carrier, a developer, including coated carrier and toner.
EFFECT: high stability of latex without undesirable effect on particle size and charge of toner.
