FIELD: electricity.
SUBSTANCE: invention may be used during blasting operations to control action of high-precision high-voltage safe electric detonators (ED), which do not include initial detonating agents (DA). The action control method lies in placement of a sensor made as an inductance coil over the controlled ED. Current pulse is registered in the sensor circuit, which entry corresponds to entry of the blasting current pulse to ED. Then its amplitude and time parameters are identified and compared with the preset parameters for the blasting current pulse corresponding to successful action of ED. The ED action mode is assessed against the results of comparison.
EFFECT: potential receipt of accurate information on the ED action mode without violation of the blasting line integrity.
