FIELD: medicine.
SUBSTANCE: method involves studying intrapancreatic specific tissual blood flow dynamics by hydrogen polarography. The blood flow is measured twice, i.e. before and after the main stage of the surgery. The high risk of the acute postoperative pancreatitis progression is stated if observing a decrease of the specific tissual blood flow by more than 15% of the initial one.
EFFECT: method provides predicting a disease before its clinical and biological manifestation that makes it possible to take the timely measures required to prevent postoperative acute pancreatitis.
