FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of stabilising alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide consists in addition of sodium tetraborate and magnesium sulphate as stabilisers into initial solution of hydrogen peroxide. After that, required quantity of respective alkaline metal hydroxide is introduced into obtained solution. Stabilisers are introduced into hydrogen peroxide solution before addition of alkaline metal hydroxide in the following quantities (mole of substance/mole of hydrogen peroxide): sodium tetraborate - 0.001-0.004; magnesium sulphate - 0.001-0.004. Magnesium sulphate is introduced into solution of hydrogen peroxide after complete dilution of sodium tetraborate.
EFFECT: simplification of technological process and ensuring stability of alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide for a long time.
