FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of producing air regeneration products for human respiratory protection systems against chemical and biological agents. Method of producing a product for air regeneration involves reacting a hydrogen peroxide solution stabilized with magnesium sulphate in molar ratio hydrogen peroxide / magnesium sulphate (H2O2/MgSO4) = 450÷700 and sodium and potassium hydroxides obtained by applying any known method (impregnation, aerosol sputtering, etc.) of the obtained alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide to an indifferent porous matrix of required geometrical dimensions and subsequent dehydration of the system. Dehydration of the indifferent porous matrix impregnated with the initial alkaline hydrogen peroxide solution is carried out either by drying in a vacuum at temperature of 30÷150 °C, or in a stream of dried decarbonized gas at atmospheric pressure and temperature of 60÷220 °C. In alkaline solution of hydrogen peroxide after addition of magnesium sulphate after 1–3 minutes orthoboric acid is introduced in molar ratio hydrogen peroxide / orthoboric acid (H2O2/H3BO3) = 285÷850, wherein sodium and potassium hydroxides are introduced into the liquid phase simultaneously in two portions with interval of 6–10 minutes such that the temperature in the synthesis zone does not exceed 60 °C.
EFFECT: product for air regeneration obtained according to the invention has a higher degree of carbon dioxide treatment and provides a longer time of protective action during its operation in human life support systems.
