FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pyrolysis of timber and its wastes and the other renewable organic stock. Proposed device comprises furnace connected with pyrolysis chamber, cylindrical retorts with gas collecting elements at the bottom connected via gas discharge pipes with said furnace. Said furnace is isolated from pyrolysis chamber by perforated wall. Said chamber is divided by perforated walls into compartments to house at least two retorts. Note here that wall lower part has at least one opening to receive refractory element with through holes wherein fitted are gas discharge pipes. Ends of gas discharge pipes are arranged at the refractory element centre. Plane of the latter wherein terminate through holes is located at the angle to furnace hearth. Pyrolysis chamber compartment adjacent to furnace can be connected via gas line with one of compartments at mid part of pyrolysis chamber. Furnace top part is shaped to curved arch. Hollow cylindrical element with cover of ID larger than retort OD can be fitted at top cover of every compartment of pyrolysis chamber. Note here that compartment top cover is composed of two parallel metal sheets with spacing communicated with atmosphere and inner chamber of the compartment.
EFFECT: accelerated pyrolysis, ruled out gas discharge pipe destruction, simplified design.
