FIELD: transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed device comprises the bed, frame with roller bearings with axles fitted at guide rails secured at the bed. At least one of axles is equipped with the drive with the sensor of frame displacement along machined rail head axis and displacement magnitude. It comprises also the grinding wheel drive and transducers of wheel in-touch state. Grinding wheel is mounted at circular guide to be turned by the drive with turn angle α transducer for machining of the full rail head profile. It incorporates grinding wheel axial displacement drive with displacement transducer. Said frame supports rail head profile transducers and extra guide and grinding head to increase the length of grinding rail head irregularities.
EFFECT: higher precision, efficiency and surface quality.
