FIELD: railway tracks.
SUBSTANCE: invention is related to maintenance of the superstructure of railway tracks, in particular, to devices for cleaning rail heads from rust. The device is equipped with a gasoline drive and a flap grinding wheel. The circle receives rotational motion through the centring washer from the gearbox. The wheel cleans rail heads using the soft grinding method. The device is equipped with a safety bar. The shape of the bar prevents the grinding wheel from slipping off the rail.
EFFECT: use of additional equipment is prevented.
