FIELD: railway track maintenance.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to the field of railway track maintenance, in particular to methods for processing the surface of the rail head, as well as to devices for its implementation. The device contains a frame with hanging stages, a suspension with mechanisms for lifting and turning the hanging stage and a mechanism for pressing the working peripheral surface of the grinding stones to the surface of the rails. Grinding stones with the possibility of free rotation are placed on the hanging stages. The axes of the stones are at an angle to the longitudinal axis of the rail. Units for setting the working position are mounted for each stone. Each unit contains a motion sensor and mechanisms for vertical and horizontal movement. The loading unit is equipped with a tilt angle sensor and a rotation mechanism. The axis of the loading unit and the axis of rotation of the stone are combined geometrically and are equipped with sensors of angular velocity and longitudinal force of pressing the stone to the surface. To process the surface of the rail head, the working position of each stone is adjusted relative to the corresponding grinding tracks. The setup consists in installing stones with an eccentricity by means of vertical and horizontal movement mechanisms. At the same time, the stones are pressed against the treated surface with the end face.
EFFECT: speed of grinding operations increases.
