FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fibre-optic sensors of deformation distribution for systems of monitoring of different objects based on registration of parameters of thin structure of scattered radiation, in particular, to sensors of tension based on registration of parameters of forced Brillouin scattering. The fibre-optic sensor of distribution of longitudinal deformations comprises at least one optic fibre in a dense polymer coating, identical straight longitudinal power elements, an external protective polymer shell. Optic fibre is rigidly connected by means of a polymer coating with an external protective polymer shell having a wide side, providing for mechanical contact with an object of monitoring. For protection of optic fibre against crushing load, acting perpendicularly to the wide side of the external shell, the fibre is located between power elements jointly with the latter in the plane parallel to the wide side of the external shell.
EFFECT: increased resistance to action of crushing loads of a fibre-optic sensor of tension deformation.
