FIELD: process engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to fluid filtration under pressure. Proposed process comprises making of bed or beds of nonwoven material on porous carbon material and fitting of top and bottom flanges at carbon materials end faces. Ply of nonwoven material is formed around porous carbon material by overlapping bonding of nonwoven material and making the heat processing ply at ply overlap that makes the seam over the entire length of nonwoven material its length exceeding that of porous carbon material. Extending parts of nonwoven material on end sides are processed with polymer-based glue composition. Said parts are locked at ends of porous carbon material by top and bottom flanges. Produced filter element consists of porous carbon material covered with nonwoven material and features composite water-permeable are on ends of porous carbon material.
EFFECT: better filtration, ease of filter element assembly.
