FIELD: medicine. SUBSTANCE: method involves forming conjunctival and superficial scleral flap. Deep sclera layers are removed from above the ciliary body together with external wall of the Schlemm canal coming to the cornea. After removing the Schlemm canal wall, corneoscleral tissue is separated over the Descemet membrane in the Schwalbe line projection using laminating protector unit. The protector is placed above the trabecula between the Descemet membrane and corneoscleral tissue. The separated corneoscleral tissue is removed above the laminating protector unit. The protector is removed and draining unit is placed at the place the removed superficial scleral flap so that after fixing the superficial scleral flap, the part of the draining unit covered with it is intrasclerally set, and the remaining part is placed above the conjunctiva. The device has strip produced from biologically compatible material and its supporting part is V-shaped with an angle between the parts equal to 130-160 deg. The draining unit optionally is U-shaped. The sizes of working and supporting parts are selected from conditions determined by clinical data. EFFECT: enhanced effectiveness of treatment; improve liquid drainage. 7 cl, 4 dwg
