SUBSTANCE: method in UE includes reception (501) of a configuration message from a target base station by means of a source base station, configuration of (502) UE on the basis of the received configuration message from the target base station by means of searching (503) for the second field in the information element of the received configuration message. Presence/non-presence or value of the second field indicates how to control the configured first functional capability connected to the optional first field, besides, the configured first functional capability may not be supported by the target base station.

EFFECT: provision of scenario, in which UE service is transferred from a source base station into a target base station in a service transfer scenario, and in which the target base station may not support functional capabilities, which are supported by the source base station and UE.
