FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: method is implemented in the chamber fitted with an electrochemical oxygen pump, gas suction and discharge system and the oxygen partial pressure sensor in two stages. For the forced change of oxygen initial partial pressure in some mode a gas with the oxygen partial pressure differing from the pre-set one is injected into the chamber: smaller, than the pre-set one, for decrease of oxygen partial pressure and big, than the pre-set one, for increase of the latter. For maintaining of the pre-set oxygen partial pressure the electrodes of the electrochemical oxygen pump are powered by the control voltage the value of which is set according to the regulation law the necessary part of which is the proportional and integral law using the readings of the oxygen partial pressure sensor expressed in values of internal EMF of the electrochemical oxygen pump.
EFFECT: method allows to increase the speed of change of initial oxygen partial pressure in a chamber, providing thus high precision of maintenance of the set oxygen partial pressure.
