FIELD: instrument making.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to analytical instrument-making. Electrochemical (1) oxygen sensor is installed in reaction chamber (3). Selective membrane (4) replaces part of wall of reaction chamber (3). Part of reaction chamber (3) is filled with sorbent (5). Weight of sorbent corresponds to a condition, which takes into account a relationship between volume of reaction chamber (3), density of sorbent (5), service life of sensor, temperature of reaction chamber (3), molar weight of sorbent (5) and molar fraction of water content in it, volume flow rate of water vapour, exiting reaction chamber, partial pressure of water vapour for sorbent (5) at specified temperature in reaction chamber (3) and universal gas constant.
EFFECT: invention provides high accuracy of measuring concentration of hydrogen and improvement of ergonomic characteristics of hydrogen sensor.
