FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to ferrous metallurgy, namely to a blast-furnace process. The proposed method involves crushing of oily scale, mixing of crushed scale with liquid hydrocarbons and water, treatment of the mixture so that composite fuel is obtained, its heating, which are performed simultaneously in a hydraulic-impact cavitation plant containing an impeller with a peripheral annular wall and a row of outlet holes made in its circumferential direction, a stator with a wall located coaxially relative to the impeller and the formed peripheral annular wall of the impeller and a coaxial wall of the stator with an annular resonant chamber. A mixture of the above components is first supplied to the cavity of the impeller of the above said plant through the stator outlet hole, then, through the row of outlet holes on the peripheral annular surface of the impeller to the annular resonant chamber so that effect is exerted on the mixture of the above components of resonant vibrations of acoustic and supersonic frequency till kinematic viscosity of the obtained composite fuel equal to 0.5-0.9 stokes is achieved. The obtained composite fuel contains scale 20-25 wt % and water 10-30 wt %.

EFFECT: application of the method allows a simpler technology and lower energy consumption for utilisation of oily scale with increased moisture content.
