FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; blast-furnace process.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method includes monitoring scale moisture content, diluting scale with water to moisture content of 70-75% and thickening to 30-35%. Then, scale is directed to mixer to which water and liquid hydrocarbons are simultaneously delivered; their moisture content is also under test. Amount of liquid hydrocarbons and water delivered to mixer are regulated for maintenance of moisture content of mixture at required level at ratio of scale, liquid hydrocarbons and water within (30-50) : (30-50) : (12-32). Suspension thus obtained is directed to stabilizer and then suspension under pressure is delivered to blast furnace for blowing into lances as composite liquid fuel.
EFFECT: facilitated procedure; reduced power requirements.
