FIELD: ferrous metallurgy; rolling and blast-furnace processes; utilization of fine greased scale.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method consists in diluting greased scale with water to moisture content of 65-75% followed by thickening it to moisture content of 13-15% in filtering centrifuge and directing it to mixer together with liquid hydrocarbons whose moisture content is under check and water. Amount of scale, liquid hydrocarbons and water is regulated maintaining stability of moisture content of this mixture and content of scale at this level; ratio of scale to liquid hydrocarbons and to water is maintained within (35-55) : (35-55) : (13-30), respectively. Suspension thus obtained is subjected to stabilization and is fed under pressure to blast furnace for blowing into air tuyeres as composite liquid fuel.
EFFECT: facilitated procedures; reduced power requirements.
