FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to the cermet compositions to manufacture parts subjected to erosion and corrosion at high temperature. The cermet composition expressed by equation (PQ)(RS) includes the binding phase (RS) and ceramic phase (PQ) distributed in form of particles. The binding phase includes the alloy metal S selected from Si, Cr, Ti, Al, Nb, Mo and their mixtures, and ceramic phase (PQ) is mixture of 51 wt % ZrO2 - 49 wt % TiO and is distributed in the binding phase in form of the particles covering 45-52 vol % per volume of the cermet composition. Composition cracking is prevented at stage of sintering due to uniform distribution of the binding components in the item volume.
EFFECT: uniform shrinkage of the item metal matrix, increased output of finished product complying with technical requirements.
