FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to powder metallurgy, particularly to cermet compositions, containing metal boride. It can be used for manufacturing of details, operating at high temperatures and influence of erode forces. Cermet composition, expressed by formula [PQ)(RS) includes ceramic phase (PQ) and connecting phase (RS). P - at least one metal, selected from the group, consisting of elements of IV group, V group, VI group; Q -boride; R includes Fe as basic component and metal, selected from the group, consisting from Ni, Co, Mn and its mixture; S includes Ti in the range 0.1-3.0% wt calculated per weight of binding phase (RS) and at least one element, selected from the group, consisting of Cr, Al, Si and Y. Cermet composition is applied on metallic surface for its protection against erosion at temperature up to 850°C.
EFFECT: composition allows high corrosive and erosion resistance.
