FIELD: metallurgy.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to oxide-metal material, particularly to cermet compositions for details manufacturing subject to erosion and corrosion impact at high temperature. Cermet composition , expressed by formula (PQ)(RS)X, including ceramic phase (PQ), binding phase (RS) and X. Binding phase contains basic metal R, selected from the group: Fe, Ni, Co, Mn and its mixtures, and alloying metal S, including at least 12 wt % Cr and metal selected from the group: Si, Ti, Al, Nb, Mo and its mixtures. X - at least as one member selected from the group consisting of oxide dispersoid, intermetallic compound and derivative. Ceramic phase is distributed in binding phase in the form of particles of diametre in the range approximately from 0.5 up to 3000 micrometre, and X is distributed in binding phase in the form of particles in the range of diametres from approximately 1 nm up to 400 nm. Cermet composition is applied on metallic surface for its protection against erosion.

EFFECT: composition allows high corrosive and erosion resistance.
