SUBSTANCE: protective device for well pipes to protect screw thread contains the covering coupling with periphery wall. One wall side is covering side with resilient material to cover in the installed position the pipe end screw thread. Part of coupling wall is flexible, and coupling wall has slits along its length in axial direction. The coupling wall can deform with possibility to adjust the wall diameter and to ensure transition between the locked state and unlocked state. The resilient material in the locked state is pressed by the coupling wall to the screw thread, and in unlocked state is not pressed to the tread or is pressed in less extent. The actuator contains handle made with possibility of sliding relatively to the covering coupling in axial direction to implement the possibility of the actuator sliding. The handle in locked state can rotate relatively to the covering coupling around the axial direction to the position where possibility of the actuator sliding in direction of switching to the unlocked state is locked.
EFFECT: invention has simple design and ensures easy and quick device dismounting.
