FIELD: measurement equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention refers to devices of control of operation range and laser distance meters sensitivity without field tests, and estimation of limit deviations of these characteristics. The plant may be tested with any laser distance meter, in which distance is determined by time of light pulse passing from distance meter to observed object and from the object to device. The plant for non-route check of laser distance meter containing power reducer of checked distance meter laser pulses, device for initial pulse generation, interface unit, personal computer, power-supply source of laser emitter, laser emitter, optical system for laser beam generation, system providing required power of pulse transmitted to distance meter receiving channel, optical system of connection to distance meter receiving channel, through which target reticule, powered by separate power supply source, is introduced to distance meter using reticule optical system and cube prism.
EFFECT: providing measurement of distance meter operation range, accuracy of distance measurement and sensitivity.
