FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: sieve tray contains horizontal plate with uniformly arranged sieves, through which in upward direction the gas phase passes and liquid phase passes in downward direction. The horizontal plate is made out of two connected plates. Each plate has asymmetrically installed elements of two sieve types: one sieve element has form of round sieve-valve connected to the plate with posts, pressed from the plate together with sieve-valve, the other sieve element is in form of the round sieve-hole with overall dimension ensuring installation in the sieve-hole with minimum clearance of the sieve-valve of the another plate. On the top plate the sieve-valves look down symmetrically to the sieve-holes in the bottom plate, and in the bottom plate the sieve-valves look up symmetrically to the sieve-holes of the top plate.
EFFECT: increased efficiency of phases contact, increased throughput capacity of the tray.
