FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of obtaining epoxyethylcarboxylate or glycidylcarboxylate, including carrying out reaction of vinylcarboxylate or allylcarboxylate with application of oxidiser and manganese water-soluble complex in water reaction medium, and manganese water-soluble complex contains oxidation catalyst, characterised by the fact that manganese water-soluble complex represents mononuclear particle, described by general formula (I): [LMnX3]Y, or binuclear particle, described by general formula (II): [LMn(µ-X)3MnL]Yn, where Mn represents manganese; L represents ligand, and each L independently represents polydentate ligand, each X independently represents coordinating particle, and each µ-X independently represents bridge coordinating particle, Y represents non-coordinating counter-ion; where epoxidation is carried out at pH value in the range from 1.0 to 7, and molar ratio between vinylcarboxylate or allylcarboxylate and oxidiser in the range from 1:1 to 12:1. Vinylcarboxylate or allylcarboxylate represent ester, described by the following formulas: R1(C(O)OCH=CH2)n; or R 1 ' ( C ( O ) O C H 2 C H = C H 2 ) n , where R1 represents mono- or polyvalent radical, containing from 6 to 100 carbon atoms, and R 1 ' represents mono- or polyvalent radical, containing from 5 to 100 carbon atoms, where n corresponds to the number of ester groups and constitutes integer number, equal 1 and more, where R1 optionally contains 1or more heteroatoms, and where R 1 ' optionally contains 1 or more heteroatoms. In manganese water-soluble complex each X is independently selected from the group, consisting of: RO-, Cl-, Br-, I-, F-, NCS-, N 3 , I 3 , NH3, NR3, RCOO-, R S O 3 , R S O 4 , OH-, O2-, O 2 2 , HOO-, H2O, SH-, CN-, OCN- and S 4 2 and their combinations, and R is selected from the group, consisting of: C1-C20alkyl, C3-C20cycloalkyl, C6-C20aryl, benzyl and their combinations. Each µ-X is independently selected from the group, consisting of: RO-, Cl-, Br-, I-, F-, NCS-, N 3 , I 3 , NH3, NR3, RCOO-, R S O 3 , R S O 4 , OH-, O2-, O 2 2 , HOO-, H2O, SH-, CN-, OCN- and S 4 2 and their combinations, and R is selected from the group, consisting of: C1-C20alkyl, C3-C20cycloalkyl, C6-C20aryl, benzyl and their combinations. Y represents non-coordination counter-ion, selected from the group, consisting of RO-, Cl-, Br-, I-, F-, S O 4 2 RCOO-, P F 6 , acetate, tosylate, trifluoromethanesulphonate ( C F 3 S O 3 ) and their combinations, and R is selected from the group, consisting of: C1-C20alkyl, C3-C20cycloalkyl, C6-C20aryl, benzyl and their combinations.

EFFECT: elaboration of alternative method of obtaining vinyl- and allylcarboxylates, making it possible to carry out the process in water phase.
